Bone char is used to filter impurities in sugar and to strip away the brown color. But it’s really produced using the bones of cows from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The bones are bleached in the sun and heated until they become a filter. Cane sugar is cured using bone char. Beet sugar isn’t. But companies don’t tell you if they’re using cane or beet sugar. They often mix them. To be safe, only buy from companies that are certified as bone char free. Here is a list of bone char free sugar companies. #vegansofig

This was all thanks to the 30 Day Shred…
Honestly saw results within days!!!
Went on holiday before I could finish it… and then all the results went away as I’ve put on so much weight! But just letting everyone know it is such a good DVD that I will be using in January!!!
This makes me really want to finally complete the full 30 Day Shred
If I can find it anywhere in my house…haha

Possibly the best salad ever.
White bean, quinoa, carrot, orange bell pepper, tomato, cucumber, minced shallot, lightly wilted baby spinach, TWO AVOCADOS, fresh spring herb mix, and arugula + clover micro-greens tossed in a smoked tomato dressing.
All in all this bad-boy came out to almost two pounds* of lean green noms.
